I had all but given up on the Marketplace (Auto's for Sale, Parts and Accessories, Wanted to Buy) due to the pages and pages of old adds. Most were several months old and the items long since been sold.

I checked it this morning and was presently surprised to find it all cleaned up with only new adds. Are people supposed to delete their adds or is this soley up to you?

Anyway, THANK YOU!

This is just a band-aid fix until I can write a better classified ad section.

People are supposed to delete their ads, but it doesn't always work that way. When you submit an ad you're mailed a key and a web address you can use to edit/delete your ad. Hopefully people will be better about keeping that email, because it's hard for me to keep up with all the requests to add/modify/delete classifieds...

Derek,

It is interesting that when I post an ad, it doesn't show up right away. Also, when I attempt to edit my ad, sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. However once I edited my ad, it disappeared again...

Is this by design? Do you have to review ads for inappropriate content before they can be viewed/edited?
