I have a 1986 300ZX NA. I was wondering if it's uncommon for one of these to have a solid roof instead of t-tops.

Yes, somewhat. The slicktop is considered more rare but nothing too special. Most of the 300zx's sold had t-tops while very few had slicktops. 1984 had the most slicktops produced, then 85, then 86. Basicly as the years went on fewer and fewer slicktops where made. Is it an uncommon thing? yes. Is it better for rigidity? Yes becuase the t-tops let the car flex more in a turn while the slicktop keeps things more rigid which is better. Does it make it worth more? Not really. I honesly love the way the slicktops look over the t-tops while others have the reverse opinion. Personal choice. Hope this helps

TTops leak bought new interior stripping not paying my life savings on new weather stripping from the dealer. Is it the ttop trim or the trim on the car that causes it to leak or both. I am gonna try to go to the junkyard this week. Thanks/
