I have a 1975 R-200 3.54 gear ratio and want to know if this will directly bolt up with no modifications to my 1978 280Z. My 78 has 275000 miles and is ready to be replaced. Also Will my existing 1978 drive shaft and half shaft fit with no modifications to the 75 rear end.
Thanks Monty

Yes it will. Your '78 should have the R200 in it factory stock equiped. If not you'll need a mustache bar out of a 1978 or older Z with the R200 diff. Other than that its a straight bolt in mods (when you got the right parts). Some of the halfshafts are different, some are splined others have a 4 bolt pattern. Make sure the diff your using has the same style your car has.
