its more complicated using the incorrect manifold, and its a straight swap using the correct manifold. There is one for sale in the classifieds. How in the heck do you lose or destroy an intake manifold anyway? Are you building a 79 piece by piece or what?
The only difference I can think of,one may be an egr intake,one may not be. Does the exhaust man have an egr tube? The intake manifold themselves will bolt up with no problems.
