I recently bought a set of 3 screw Hitachi round top carbs for my z. The springs for the suction chamber are both rusted out and broken. I'm currently in search of new springs.

I understand that the Hitachi's are based of the SU HS6, but I'm unsure if they share the exact same type of spring and if so were to I buy one and with what spring rate?

There were a couple of forums on locating carb piston springs but none really had a concrete answer and all were posts from early 2000's.

I contacted Z therapy and I'm waiting on a response.
This site had them but they're currently unavailable

I also found this, which goes over someone's testing of the British SU springs vs the #23 stock round-top springs, and found them to be quite similar in performance.
