What is the reason the car sneezes out the carbs while its cold and also a pain in the butt to start...The car runs great if its warmed up ...Any comments please reply

Check to see that your chokes are working. Engines need a rich mixture in order to run well cold... Good Luck.

You are definitely running too lean. Check the position of the carburetor jets (bottom of the SU) before and after engaging the choke. You should see the jets moved down (towards the ground) about 1/4inch or more when you open the choke.
