I live in Albuquerque, and every **** SUV in this town thinks its hot sh**. There's so many F-350's and Excursions you'd think we had cowboys or something. I get so sick and tired of them cutting me off, and having to look at their "Skyjacker" lift-kit stickers emblazoned upon huge custom fabricated plate metal bumpers.
So when a white Dorf Exploder tried to blow my doors off, I had to whup up on him. Needless to say, he quickly faded in my rearview mirror, about 5 car lengths by the time I hit 50 MPH. By my rusty-green-$900 280z! oUcH, that had to hurt!!!

I live in 'burque to. and I know what your talking about. But at any rate I also have a 280zx. It is a 79 with all of those power draining gadgets. What are you planning on doing with your car? I picked mine up all the way out on 98th and central for 600 bucks! and it runs! well maybe I'll see you around in that green 280z or is it a zx??

I get that a lot out here in So. Cal. too. It's mostly the Fart Mobiles and such but get a lot of rich kids with trucks you can walk under that want to race. I put them all to shame With my stock 280 zx and before that my chevy LUV with the 3.1 from the camaros. I like to go fast!!!!

whats up. i live in southern utah and i have the same problem with all the ******** and theyre superduty diesels and towncars. actually i did work at a ford dealership (of course i got fired as of today) anyway, i hate all the excursion and towncar owners. i have a silver 1980 280zx, but i haven't had anyone try to race me.... yet. i'll back off if some guy with an 8 cylnder or something wants to race.

hehe dont let em see your scared. most only have a engine and dont know how to drive. believe me this is very true for most. i mean i have a 240 which is a lil beefed for its 2.4 stature, but i whooped a 95 eclipse and i believe he was turbo!!, the fool didnt know how to drive his car and i smoked him in second gear. now i know a lot of people are going to say sure you did but you know what i did. i was ready to shift to third at 65, he was already into third and backed off. think he got scared of what wasnt there lol. if you like to have a lil fun never back down. shoot when i used to have this 88 na 300ZX a mustang guy tries to pull on me. we show off at each light then he asks wanna race? i said sure. then he looks back over and says well ill have you know im far from stock. i look back and say well i have an exhaust filter and taller rear, whats up? well i ask if he will race again and he just sits there as the light turns green.. so i just roll on off. but what im sayn is a lot of big engine guys will talk mess but when it comes to backing it up most are to scared lol

Ever noticed how most of the guys who climb out of those huge Excretions and huge lifted trucks are like 5 feet tall? I dunno....

Hey, I used to have a '79 before it got ganked by some thieves about 8 years ago. **** good cars!
Okay, so I used to cruise Montgomery back then, and so I still do now and then. Saw a '79-'83 Z out there last weekend, wuz that you?
Just a daily driver right now, but you know that won't last long!

Why the 4" pipes, anyways?

Do those 4" exhaust pipes really make a Civic fast? They look like they cost a bundle, and sound like you said, a big fart. Why oh why?
I saw several at the drag strip a while back, and they mostly ran 18's in the quarter!!!! Pretty good, for a Caterpillar that is!
