i have Iron Cross Alloy Wheels the same the The DATSUN 280ZX'80 10-Tenth Anniversary Edition .

like the 1st photo."but my are gray-across.& the rest
is chrome.
my 280zx '80 wheels are pealing off and fungus has develop they are in very "bad conditions".

what i need to know is what type of stripper/remover
should i use to peal off all the paint-lacquer & then
what type of primer & color chrome or gray should i use???.

I used #00 and #0000 steel wool soaked with acetone or laquer thinner, all available at hardware stores.
For the white corrosion use steel wool soaked with vinegar. Be patient, it takes a lot of work to get them looking great.
For repainting the inside of the wheels I have used good old Rustoleum for solid colors. I remember seeing a clearcoat spray can intended for wheel use in the Eastwood catalog, but I have not tried it. This would work after you get the shiny part cleaned up if you live in the rustbelt and have to protect from salt spray; I just do a polishing using Blue Coral Aluminum/Mag wheel polish once a month or so.
