Which plug does everyone like to use in their Z cars? Stock NGK or VX Platinum NGK and why? Kirk

I used just regular ol' NGK Plats. They are the 6 bucks a pop ones. I put them in my turbo, used them about 1 mile and the car finally gave up the ghost (Transmission). So I have them for sale and the 8mm FireWire I bought...you can have it all for 40 bucks. Email me at [email protected] if interested

Platinum work great on Turbo or fuel injected, but not so good on carbed cars as they run very cool and foul up. I use Nkg BPR5EY 3247.

As I understand plugs the platinum are long-life plugs that are mainly for cars that have the plugs buried under so much crap that changing them is a 2-hour job...so with long -life they don't have to be changed so often...on the Z they are so easy to change I use the standard NGKs...BP6HS...about a buck & a quarter each...

just make sure you don't go too high on the heat, you'll melt the head

My vote is for...

NGK #BP8EVX platinums. Stock No.2671.

With NGK the higher the number the colder the plug. Dunno about running '5's.

The 8EVXs helped reduce pinging in my Z.
