is there any good site that helps me calculate compression on a rebuilt 76 280 motor with a N47 head, and flat top pistons. I tried ideal-z.com, and i couldnt get it to download corectly.

N47 head has 44.6cc chamber. with flat piston, about 10 to 1 I think.

I have a 76 and am doing pretty much what you are with the flat top pistons. I worked it out a while back and as I remember it came out to about 10.4 with a stock gasket and 9.4 with a 2.0mm head gasket. I am using a 2,0mm HG.
