Loosen the bolts and adjust the latch itself. I had the same issue on my NA and moving the latch down fixed the issue.
Sticky hatch
Hello everybody, When I pop the lever next to the driver seat step out and close the driver door my hatch seems to lock back. I hear it click open but this ticks me off and I end up just opening with key. I have sprayed lubricant in back center latch area but no help. Should I use grease or is there an adjustment? Pics would help with details if possible. Thanks

Thanks Woody, It took me a whole 2 mins to find the 3 bolts and I lowered it 2mm. Now it doesn't lock after I slam the door. Maybe that will get rid of the wet road noise back there when it rains. Your awesome.
I have this same problem and the only way I can get my hatch open is using my keyfob to open it. I'll use this tip for sure. thanks.
