You've probably heard this one a million times but I wanted to hear the opinions of those who would know best (read:zcar.com).

I had my 84 turbo sitting in my yard for a few months (was waiting to put in a new clutch) and i would fire it up every now and then and it started up fine; just recently i took it to a mechanic's garage and got the clutch in myself and everything went fine.

So I go to start it up after charging my battery, and it turns over but it won't get any further than that. It was generally agreed upon that i'm not getting any fuel to the engine. So I dump 5 gallons in under the assumption that my sending unit is bad and I have an empty tank. That didn't solve it. I can hear the fuel pump running in the back so that shouldn't be it either. Upon attempting to start and giving it some throttle, I can smell gas under the hood.

My suspicions are FPR, fuel rail or injectors, ...?

I'm stumped, quite frankly.

P.S. I didn't touch anything under the hood from the time that it was starting fine until it stopped working.
