Here is a picture of the 14 row and 16 row intercoolers side by side. The 14 row intercooler has noticably larger rows. My problem is I just bought a 16 row(for a really decent price), and I want to should I go ahead and use it or is it horribly inefficient. Thanks guys

scott...........

from the looks of things, I don't think you will actually notice any difference....

as long as it's not really restricting the air, and as long as your charge isn't too too hot (like I mean 30 PSI+) I think you will find no diff between the two

Doesn't look like too much of a difference between the two. The 16 row may be a little more efficient due to more surface area on the intake charge. Flow should be very very similar, though.

Re: scott...........

some times the old addage bigger is better applies. This is a case that bigger is better. When it comes to an intercooler get the biggest one you can that will fit in the car. There are differences in thickness of the core that make a thiner one look bigger, but you weant a thick big core and your in there. If you are going to do a install like that, you may as well get the right cooler for your final application, and save yourself the time and trouble of having to do it again.
