I think my brake booster is bad and I'm Looking for conformation before I spend the money.

I had the rear calipers off to fix a draging brake problem, Beld the system (all 4) well after the install, but the pedal would go to the floor when pressed hard. When the pedal was pressed there were air bubbles coming up from the back of the rsvr. I bench bled the master cylnder, re-bled the brakes. Same thing. I replaced the master cylinder with a re-man bench bled it, then bled the system. now the pedal is frim, until the engine is started. Then it goes to the floor. I have re-bled the system 3 times and vacume bled the system twice. No air anytime but the pedal is the same.

Am I missing any thing. Sorry for the long post

Thanks for any help

I suspect your master cylinder is leaking internally past the rear o-ring (between it and the booster). Don't try the rebuild kits, I've had no luck with them.

I had a similar but more minor kind of problem...try driving it at very low speeds using the brakes a lot...see if it starts to shape up.

OR....buy the $30 vac tester kit/bleeder and bleed it from the wheels.
