"Congratulations sir, you're now the proud owner of a bad turbo" I removed the turbo tube and found lots of oil, I then removed the intake hose before the turbo and found that I had a lot of up and down movement of the impellor. That's the good news! I decided, since the car runs so good, to take it for a short drive down the road to see how it drove (bad idea). About a mile from the house it quit running- no spark no fuel. The fuel pump runs and it turns over, but no fire from the coil or injectors. As I looked under the hood I noticed that a wire that appeared to plug into the distributor was unplugged (about a 1/4" spade terminal) I plugged this back in and then found that it was not plugged in on the other end. It appeared to plug into a small silver can (resister or capacitor?) beside the coil. All help will be appreciated as I'm beginning to wonder if the two hundred I gave for the car was too much!
