Just joking about the smoke, But anyway, On occasion I will crank but get no fire from the coil. I think this is a relay, but am not sure. The problem is not consistent, and tends to only happen in COLD!!! weather. I.E. about 35degF. I know what you are thinking so SHADUP, I live in HOUSTON and it ant suppose to get that friggin cold here. Anyway after standing in front of a apparently dead Z freezing, I pulled my coil wire and nothing sparked out of it. I proceeded to smack about all the relay sets I could find and tried it again. It finally started, BTW know I know what all those cold start hoses are for....They relay do help in that kind of weather... So again I plead, If you know of a temp dependant (Non-solid State) devise that would cause this please give me a clue.

Thanks
