Hey guys and gals, Back when I bought my car, I had it smogged and the guy told me that there was a BB in one of my Vaccuum lines that was bypassing my smog equipment, making it not pass. He removed the BB and it passed with flying colors. I have heard from a couple of people that with the BB in place, the car will run better and faster. Is this true? And which line should I place the BB in? I dont want to be putting BBs in my lines causing all kinds of problems. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

It was probably in the egr vacumn line. With the egr working it let's exhaust back into the intake and leans the mixture. Engines like cold air because cold air is denser and more can fit into the cylinders. The egr does the opposite.
