I was changing out the rotor button on the distributor, and boy that sucker doesn't come off. I unscrewed the little screw and and tried pulling that sucker off but ****, it's on there really good.

Did I miss a step somewhere or do I just have to find something to wedge that thing out of there? It on there pretty **** good, almost like it's fused on!

That's what I figured. Man, that sucker is on tight. I tried using a screwdriver until it looked like it put a small indentation on the distributor then I eased off of it.

Is it ok to use some WD-40 or some other lubricant? Or do I just pretty much have to sit there and work it slowly until it finally comes off?

"How about a thin film of temperature resistant caliper grease. WD-40 will evaporate on your next freeway spin." NK.
