This was posted on the IZCC Home page and I thought you folks might benefit from this since I've seen lots of you looking for factory shop manuals. Contact:

Some of the manuals are only available in photocopy form (78,79,82,83) and they are a bit pricey but they beat the heck out of a Haynes manual any day! I just don't trust a manual that has a compilation of several model years in one publication. My shop manual for my 78 has about 800 pages with excellent detailed diagrams.

Why don't you just pick up the phone? Geesh, it's a free call. I don't own an 83 and my only purpose for posting the info is to help those of you who don't have a manual and are always asking questions that could easily be answered by looking in a proper shop manual. ****, I'd pay the 60-100 bucks to have an expert at my side any day! Give em a call. I already have a manual.

The '83 shop manual was $73 last year. That's
roughly what it would cost to photocopy the thing
_yourself_, to put it into perspective. ;^)
Highly recommended to anyone who wants to know anything about their car. No Z should be purchased without one.

Actually - It's Nissan Service Publications at that addreess. Their phone number is (440) 572-7280. Send a check for $73 made out to Nissan Service Publications and be sure to put Attn: Photocopy on the envelope. I got wone for my '77 about two months ago - it's great!! It has already enabled me to perform checks on several parts that I would have arbitrarily replaced in troubleshooting problems and saved me several times the cost of the manual.
I strongly second your statement Doug - Don't have a Z without one!!!
