polishing is a very long process especially on somethign as big as an intake manifold. But you start with a grinder and grind it smoothish then you take 80 paper then 120 or so then 220 then 320 then 400 then 600 then 800 you can go all the way up to 2500grit if you want. Then you use the 3 step rouge process with a buffing wheel. I've been doing parts like this here and there and its not worth the effort i should have just paid someone to do it

Another option if not after the ultimate bling is to get some decent chrome/silver shiny paint designed for higher heat areas and just paint it up. Eastwood Comany has some supplies that can help -- you won't get the smoothness of polishing but it will be a lot brighter and won't oxidize.

Another option is to buy one chromed and swap them out.
