I got a Proform shiftlight from a guy on ebay. It is a brand new unit. I hooked it up per instructions and I have to set it about 1000rpm slower then I want to shift at..ex. to shift at 5500 I have to set it at 4500. any Ideas. Thanks.. LaterZ

it's probably set up or made for a 4 cylinder or 8 cylinder motor. find out who the manufacturer is and call them, they just might talk you through it. just don't tell them you bought it used off of ebay.
