I was getting new brakes on the front when the mechanic pointed out a sensor screwed into the passenger side of the transmission. It had a very minor leakage problem. The garage could not find what the part is.

Does anyone know?

Thanks.

Is it common for these guys to leak?

Are they an expensive part?

It looks pretty easy to replace, just unplug and unscrew. Does that sound right?

That's what it looked like.

How delicate are these parts?

Are they likely to break when I put a wrench on them?

Thanks for your responses so far, I really appreciate it.

They're pretty hard switches. You're more likely to break the connectors or wires than you are to break the switches themselves.
