The top plastic loop on my seat belt just broke. I have another clip but how do I have to get the old one off. I removed the bolt from the floor but it is still too thick to go throughthe clip. Any ideas?
Good Luck!
That little piece that slides up and down the belt is ON for good. It was put on and then the belt was sewn, so it cannot be removed. I found this out when I replaced one of my seatbelts in my 80' 280zx a while back. PS. That is not a fun job. So the answer would be no. The plastic part on my belts have been broken for some time, just have to deal with it i guess.

Optionally, you can try to cut the clip, slide it on, and then meld the cut back together (using solder iron, or similar). If done neatly, it could end up looking fine.
