On my 83 the module controlling the "lady" is over the rear passanger wheel housing. You can see it when you remove the cover for the spare tire well. The voice is projected through the speaker in the top center of the dash.

Searching for the Talking Lady
Alright quick question on this. I was told by the previous owner that my 1982 had the talking lady. He said he unplugged her somehow, I think he said the speaker, but it has been awhile so I don't 100% remember. So I was wondering where the speaker and the module would be located. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Center speaker probably not working. go to the module, identify wire and connect to new front speaker.
