Well have replaced most of the sensors & switches. Put in a new thermotime and cold start valve yesterday, air regulator the other day - still had to let it idle to warm up for 10 minutes before I could hit throttle without afm popping and car dying out. **** - now what. Reset the idle and timing tonight and it runs fine while warmed up. I have a Calf. car but replace the afm with a federal used one which seems to be functioning ok. Running out of things to try. Any more ideas ?
Car definitely has a mind of its own. I do have a fsm so can refer to it if anyone has other ideas.
Thanks for any input.
Don't think this has anything to do with it, but CA cars have the altitude switch under the driver side dash....if it malfunctions things may get wacky, but I don't think it's that severe. It's easy to bypass/disconnect.
