My 77 Z is converted to 83ZXT. The original aspirated engine
can rev upt to 7,000 rpm red line with no problem . Since I put the 83ZXT I can't seems to reach 6,000rpm. I don't know much about Z turbo. The engine is healthy
and newly rebuilt. It will reach 6,000rpm while I gun it down from the traffic light
but I can feel the engine laboring to reach that rpm. I am using electromotive
as my fuel injection system....Any comment or advice?

The only thing I could think is, I am exceeding the injector duty and
bogged down from a higher rpm..what do you think?

Thanks people

check your tuning and O2 sensor readings. I was able to gwet to 7K with my stock Nissan ECU setup on my car after I messed with the tuning a little and made sure all the active components were working correctly.

Maybe not related, but I once had a similar revving problem that I cured by replacing my stock coil with a high power crane unit. It used to labor to get up to 5500, sluggish. After the coil was installed I could easily pull to 6500.
