I am replacing the flat tops on my 1973 240Z with round tops off of a 1972. I have the carbs mounted up, and I find that the ‘73 throttle linkage that extends from the fire wall to the carb set up is about 2 inches too short to reach. I’m currently looking to buy a ‘72 throttle linkage, and I’ve thought about cutting my ‘73 linkage, extending it, and TIGing it back up. I welcome other suggestions. Any ideas?
