i was looking at a ford ranger engine and the the rocker arm are the same as the ones on my z car,but they are roller rocker.could these be used on my z car or would i need a diffrent cam.i have spare head that i could try them on.but could it make a vavle hit a piston.is there any one that make roller rockers for the l28.thanks for any help

I don't think there is a place that meks them but roller isn't going to help the HP much. May be if it is an alumium ones.

Isn't going to help hp much? It takes about 75 hp to turn a standard Z crank at 5000 rpm. Malvern Racing makes a roller rocker setup and cam for Z's (it cost a ton of money and you have to listen to Dave Webber for several hours talking about everything but what you asked). Correct that you just cant slap on roller rockers without a cam change- the valve events would be all wrong.
