Unless you are going to be racing quite a bit, a full roll cage is very intrusive. It is already hard to get in and out of a lowered Z, and with the side bars and such, it becomes very very difficult. I've been in some Z's with full cages, and it was very cramped. I wouldn't suggest this for a street car, get a roll bar instead. It allows the installation of 4 point seat belts and extinguisher if you want one. I'm planning on getting one before I start racing this car in the summer. But, it is still a dual purpose car, hence the roll bar and not full cage. Most cages are 1 5/8 tubing. Custom is definetely the best way to go, and costs around $60 per point around here. So, for a 4 point roll bar, its about $240. It's cheaper than mail order from what I've seen. Besides, you can get something that you're sure will fit.
