Can you put 84 300zx rims on a 80 280zx?

if i have 205 on the front then it brushes up against the strut tower, but if i put 195's on there do ya'll thing that it will fit or not?
The rears I know work O.K

I had to use a 1/4" spacer on the front for that swap.

i have an '81 280zx with the gold turbo rims. i am in colorado and my car is my only means of transportation. to avoid possibly damaging the original turbo wheels i went to a local junkyard and bought 4 '84 300zx rims for $25 apiece. the front rubbed the strut tower like you said. i designed a 1/2 spacer on paper and had a welding shop make the spacer. it was like $30 for both front. i had Napa special order some 1" longer lugs and put them in. it now works great and all i have to do is switch out the tires and rims for different seasons. on the rims i have 195/60R/15 and they have about 3/8"" space from the strut tower.
