I think the whole 'rim' vs 'wheel' thing is just differences in terminology kind of like 'pop' vs 'cola' vs 'soda'. Everyone still know's what people are talking about even when they call them rims.

Varies by region, I rarely hear anyone call them 'rims' around here.

English is a living language, but a rim is not a wheel. When I hear "rim", I think "get an education".

It appears Ohioans (?) are educated.

A VG30DETT is not a Z32TT.

That is exactly why the use of "rims" for "wheels" irks me.
