That ride height was measured from some point under the car and not from the side rail (under driver/passenger) doors. I seem to remember a figure more like 7 inches. There must be someone with a bone stock car out there who could tell you.

you will notice i did not say where the height was measured as far as ground clearance.....that is why i gave a roof height measurement. I am also sure it was not the rocker panel height as we run the cars lowered and have to be 5" off the ground at the rocker. So, go by the roof height...then u can be sure.

when I was doing wheel alignment at a nissan dlr. the ride hight mesurement was taken by mesuring the hight diff. from the lower control arm pivot bolt and the outer end of the lower control arm. But to use this mesurement you must have the factory spec. and a flat, level [aka alignment rack] surface do do this. check with your local Nissan dlr. to see if they still have the old books stashed away someplace. if they do...... steal them for me=)
