In response to a post to my request concerning interest in a Z car part CD-ROM project I made some inaccurate assumptions concerning a project currently underway at 240Z.org. These assumptions were based on the examples I looked at at their web site and (I guess) were not actual representations of their project. I have received many e-mails from Mike Gholson and have learned a great deal about their project. It sounds like they have done a lot of work on this and doing a really great job. I am sorry for the disparaging comments.

When I began evaluating the market for a part number/part name based search engine CD-ROM for the Z parts microfiche, I was unaware ot the 240Z.org project.

Sorry for the confusion (mine) and good luck to Mike and the guys at 240Z.org.

I was under the impression that this CD was for the 240/260Z. Is anyone going to do something for the 280Z? That would be of great interest to me. Lots of stuff changed with the 280's and I for one could use a good source for parts numbers particularly when looking at what parts the 240/260 had in common with the 280. It really helps when you're doing a restoration.
