Replacing pads on a 240Z

268 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  theghosttanker
How essential is it to replace the calipers on a 240Z when replacing pads? My pads are due for replacement, and the rotors need to be turned.... but if the calipers aren't toast, how good of an idea is it to replace them?

Thanks.

Unless they stick, you don't need to replace them. They're pretty spendy anyway...maybe a couple hundred bucks.

when the time does come to replace the calipers, you do the Toyota 4x4 conversion! But you don't replace calipers unless they are sticking or leaking. Or unless you can't wait for em to go bad before you upgrade to Toyota calipers.
