My car is losing oil... it seems to be coming from the from oil seal behind the crankshaft pulley. I had this once on an old kingswood and was able to replace the oil seal without taking the engine or radiator out. I can get my hands on the pulley puller again. Can I remove the seal on the 260Z as easily as I did on my first car??
Has anybody done this??
thanks

Yes. You can remove the balancer and pull the seal without removing the engine.

Do yourself a favor.

There is probably a little key that fits between the crank and the pulley. You might want to replace that with a new one. I had one break on me with an older Toyota that I owned and it just screwed up everything. If you are like me you would probably just use it again. No more for me. Hope this helps. Good luck. John
