I have a 1976 280Z, I will be replacing exhaust very soon. I am thinking of using stock exhaust headers with MSA turbo exhaust and cutting out the catalytic converter. Has any one done this and if so how was performance? etc?

Yeah, what's up FJM? My name is Sy from United Z Club in L.A.-LB and I love the smooth power it produces. You will loose a bit of torque in the rear, but on the freeway you will open up more power. If you had turbo, you would be unstoppable.
I also took one off my automatic 82' non-Turbo and it felt like the car was breathing better and sounded better.
