Does any one know of a junk yard that can cut me out the rear panel for a 73 240 that goes inbetween the plastic panel on the interior and the visable sheet metal on the outside of the car. This is a weld in panel that holds the tail light assemblies and wiring harness. This is the last major piece I need for a body off resto and I am having no luck finding one. Thanks, Dan

The Z's through '76 all have the full size spare and appear to be physically the same, but are they? If the panel from a car through '76 would fit, then it makes the task a lot easier. The problem is that most of the junk yard cars I've seen in Northern California have been crashed front and rear, but I'll keep looking. Where are you located?

No it will have to be from a 71-73, since the tail light assemblies are different on the 260 and the 280 they won't work. I'm in Hawaii and will gladly pay shipping and handling, need this part bad, thanks Dan

Any Z car specialist should have this and should guarantee the quality. I've dealt with the Z-barn locally (423)983-0314. Personally seen the shipment of some stuff including a 240 nose section from firewall forward and Roger the owner was forthcoming with buyer about condition and presence of imperfections. I know a guy in Germany deals with him since he lived here.

Opie, thanks for the help, the people at the Z-barn were able to help me out, and I have add their phone number to my list of folks to call first when I need parts, thanks dan
