Hi guys!

I just got my first Z31, and 85 NA 2+2, and I have to replace the rear control arm. I need to know what the differences are between the 84-86 and 87-89 models, if any.

I have been driving 240's for twenty years and am looking forward to this new one.

Thanks for the advice.

87-89 rear arms stick out 10mm more. Everything will bolt up and fit between the two styles.

And before someone corrects me that I mean the fronts... the later front control arms are 10mm longer as well, and I think that they will bolt up, but they probably need the later tension rods.

Use z31.com as a technical source, but beware of jackasses.

Positive it isn't the bushings. The control arm is bent from sliding on ice into a curb. Bought it fairly cheap because of the damage. It is in pretty good shape otherwise.
