Re: WATER-PUMP ???????

I had not read the above before posting before. I did mine without removing the shroud and belts. Just one belt to loosen, fan to disconnect. It is a little tight but very possible. Replacing the thermostat is a good idea also, I also did that. Placing cardboard by the radiator is good advice, depends on how careful you are though. I did not use anything and did not bend anything. Good luck. Oh, you also have to remove that bottom skid plate. I had no water left to drain also, but do drain yours first into a bucket. Be careful of animals, it is sweet and poisionous to them.

Re: WATER-PUMP ???????

Since there has been a leak for a while use caution when removing the bolts that secure the pump. Mine were badly rusted , and one broke off. That required removing the radiator (easy), drilling out the old bolt, the re-tapping the hole (not so easy). Added a couple of extra hours to the job, but shaking the radiator around got a lot of extra goo out of it. Always looking for the pluses.
