TANK PARTY!!!

Progress is good! Now you "know" what to tear apart :).
When do ya wanna do it??? Dropping the tank is easy as long as it's empty. The hardest part is getting those vent lines removed at the top back corner...you might have an access through the inside...my 76 didn't :-(. Find a local rad. shop that will clean and epoxy coat the tank...takes 2-3 days. While the tanks is out, get yourself 3-4 gallons of acetone and pump thru the fuel lines (looped together at the filter) to clean out corroson...and...while the fuel system is apart...you could remove the injectors and have them cleaned....eeeehaaaa... the fun we have!

RE: The idle hands club

WOW, we are a bunch of busy bees (or is that busy Zees?) I found that the Radiator shop gary and I used will take whatever gas is left in the tank, he uses it liberally on the ground (Don't think the epa has caught on to him, yet).

RE: Tank Party

Lets figure it out on Saturday at your place. Just after I drop $4,000.00 into her, I get pummeled by rust. It still looks fast sitting in the garage with the hood in the air. Such fun as you say.
