Is this the same Company (Person) that said this a few posts down (Hi Steve, the tec-2 system is an excellant system if you are going to turbo your car. I have a 73 240 thats turbocharge stock motor with a small t3 and the car runs mid 12's without slicks.Ask anyone with a good running turbo 240 (big difference :). Tec-2 run about 1250.00 with all the sensors. If you are interested in more info give me a call at 818 654-0670 ask for paul ,im also a turbonetics distributor and can get you a pretty good price on a turbo.)
1st off mid 12s without slicks and a t3..I DONT THINK SO....
2nd Stock Block, HUH, sound like your car has UM. probably 40 over pistons,Big SI Valves a 480 Lft 270 Dur cam,Port Polished,TWM Trottle Body Intercooler 16 lb flywheel with 3.55 Rearend. to run that type of times.....

I think you would have to perform a miracle to make his car run mid 12's on that setup. When I ran a pretty modified t3, I could only muster a 13.4 on street tires. I also ran the tec II, intercooler, ported head and other goodies. Your power would have to be into the 400s to muster such a time. The t3 just isn't effecient at those levels. You would have to run some serious boost. That is my opinion from experience.

We have a 79turbo w/ injectors Starion intercooler T3/T4 hybrid Tech ll T-5 3.70 Posi rear it weighs 3200lbs and is a daily driver With slicks best is 12.12 at Englishtown It has STOCK 82 turbo motor 12s should come easy in a lighter 240 (we are now building one)

hey 240turbo, i know it sound crazy but i have the time slips and i have the car at my shop every day. on the track i'm running about 17-18psi
i am running an intercooler and nitto 555.but your right its hard to believe but time slips dont lie. and as far as the turbo its just a t3 you can see for your self any time.
i will be upgrading every thing soon custom header and intake and bigger turbo.
if you get a chance give me a call to tell me about your turbo system
