R230 diff conversion in 71' Z
I'm looking at installing an R230 in my 71' 240Z. I recently dropped an 83 280ZXT motor in it with an IC and am in the breakin stage. I have the stock R180 diff in it right now and can already hear some noise from the rear. I'm running 245/50/15's in the rear and need a diff that can take a beating. Can someone direct me to a happy body who has done this R230 conversion? i already have the diff but could use some direction to install it. Also, do you happen to know what the drive ratio might be for an R230 out of a Q45?

the r200 can handle tons of hp too. first i would convert to cv axels after converting to a r200, that setup will hold a very well built turbo engine. search here and on hybridz.org and you will find all you need to know
