Ok, I have aquired what is supposed to be an R200 LSD 3.90 Torsen differential. Does anyone have any part numbers, pictures, or any other way to identify these units?

I have not picked up the diff yet, so I am hoping to inspect it here this weekend.

I do know that these diffs do exist, and I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction!

Thanks!

Hi Mike I sent you out a mail this morning. Torsen never made a diff carrier for the R200. I called them and asked if they did and the answer was no. I did find a place that makes a unit very similar to the Torsen tho the page is http://www.quaifeamaerca.com and they have a carrier that as I said looks exactly like the Torsen unit.

Actually they did, in the early 80's. I have one. I believe the original Torsen diff was invented by the Gleasen family and later sold to the Gleason Gear Works. Funny coincidence with the names, minor difference in spelling.

Quaife makes a similar unit for both the R-200 and R-180.
