Yup, that sounds like the subie lsd. If its the right one it might even have the 27spline count. There is a really nice thread on hybrid about tossing one of these in our Zeds.
r180 clutch pack LSD?
saw a r180 clutch type LSD for sale and I have been trying to figure what it came off of. Any ideas? My instinct says a subaru, and if thats the case its probably got a less desireable ratio like 3.336 or something. But for a hundred bucks I think its worth digging around. Even with subaru gearing, it could be useful.

Its possible it was off of a 300zx but i really doubt they had the r180's.
