Folks,
I bought an 83 with front end damage yesterday. Some weird stuff happens.
Such as:
1) when i turn the lights on with the car off, it sounds like the fuel pump hums to life.
2) when the car is running and i switch the lame auto temp control to heat or defrost, a bad, fan hitting something, noise eminates from the front of the car. when the fan isn't engaged the heat comes in at the floor with no noise.
Any help is much appreciated. I have to drive this car to work until i can swap the motor and tranny into my nicer 81. Thanks.
