I am buyinga 76 280z and I was wondering what
can I do to the car to improve the 0 - 60 time.
how about cams or differential? Anything beside turbo

J-You hit it on the head....faster 0-60..just pop in a 81-83zx diff, it is 3.95 ratio....I think you have a 3.5 in there now. Good luck-

Re: Rear Diff.

Thanks Travis,
Just one question though... Any idea how much time this will
cut off of my 0 - 60?

Nope- But I have heard good things. One thing to consider...do you drive on the highway often, if so you may not want to do it based on the RPM factor.-Z ya

What's wrong w/ NOS?

IMO, there is nothing wrong with laughing gas, as long as it's done right and kept to a reasonable level. BTW, L6's respond very well to nitrous oxide. Use a direct port system and upgrade your fuel pump and it'll be just fine. I have head of people squeezing up to 125hp of nitrous on the 'ol Nissan L6 without problems. Comments, anyone???

Re: What's wrong w/ NOS?

125 HP? Not bad... Heres a question though..
I have heard that when using nos it can only be
used for a short period of time (like 10 seconds)
is this true? and 2. does anyone know how much
a nos system costs to be installed and purchased?
Thanks, Jesse.
