Quick timing question

Is the keyway of the camgear supposed to be pointing 100% vertically when piston 1 is @ TDC? Mine is slightly to the right (clockwise)

yes...if that you mean the little peg/dowel...also, the crank key is pointing straight up too....they both point up when at TDC.

might be a stupid ?, but here it goes.
what and where is a keyway?also the crank key?


Getting to another subject real quick,got a new dizzy from junk yard,
neither end has plug ends dizzy side nor harness side.have R-G-W
and B
on dizzy side. harness side has 1-G,1-B,1-Gy,and 1-Gb.any one have any ideas which wires conn. to which.

Harness---- Gy Gb B Bw

So mine is pointing a little off to the right. I guess that means the chain jumped 1-2 teeth? I really hoping this is the case. I've been trying to get this engine started ever since i bought this car and have had no luck. I can't wait to hear that turbo spool up :)
