L28 flattop pistons w/P79 shaved .040, and a felpro (1mm) gasket, what's the CR???

about 9.5:1.....
with stock bore, L28 block, crank, and rods. just out of curiosity, why aren't u shaving the head 0.080" and using the shorter valves?

just making sure things are leveled up, and I didn't want to go drastic enough to use shims, and .040 is the maximum I can go without using shims. I'll be throwing in a SBC, and I dont want to spend to much $$ in the L6.

Re: about 9.5:1.....
I got little more then 040" shaved on my p79 head. I had to use new timing chain and 3rd hole on the cam gear to line the timing to TDC. It was about 9.6 to 1.
