1. Is the Z32TT fuel pump a direct drop-in replacement for a 1986 MT fuel pump?

2. Is the 87-88 mt digi dash ECU a direct drop-in replacement for a 1986 NA mt analog dash Z31?

3. What other Nissan fuel pumps are a direct replacement for the 1986 z31?

1. No. There is some work that needs to be done. But it's not hard.

2. No. And the type of dash doesn't matter with the ECU.

3. Any other Z31 fuel pump.

If you want something with more power than the Z31 pump, you're more than likely going to have to do very slight mods to get it to work, or at least soem elbow grease. If you can't find a good used Z32 TT pump, the Warlbro 190 or 255 pumps are very good also.

Zbum, what else needs to be changed besides my 02 sensor to accomodate the 87 ECU? This is hypothetical, as I'm not sure the ECU is fried but suspect it.

Others, what modifications are necessary to install an aftermarket fuel pump? The $450 price tag is pretty high to just replace a stock item, so I'd rather replace towards the upgrade coming in a few months.
