on my AE (boost at 10 PSI).

1.) Do I need to use the inductive type of timing light?

2.) How do I actually check the timing - do I use the number 1 spark plug wire?

3.) If necessary, how do I advance or retard the timing?

4.) How many degrees BTDC should the timing be set to, especially since I'm running higher boost?

BTW, the car runs fine, but I just want to make sure the timing it set where it should be.

Any detailed explanations are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input.

Yes you connect it to the #1 wire

You don't advance or retard the timing, that is accompished by the E.C.C.S.
